ARMY RECEIVES DONATION OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES

Healing Hands Foundation, chaired by Dr. María de Lourdes Bonilla, executive president, carried out this Wednesday, November 25, at the facilities of the Eloy Alfaro Military School in Parcayacu, the donation of medical supplies for the benefit of members of the Ecuadorian Army, such as also aimed at various populations in the country. This important donation received, on behalf of the institution, Brigadier General Luis Altamirano Junqueira, Commander General of the Ecuadorian Army. The ceremony was attended by high government authorities as well as the Armed Forces. General Altamirano highlighted that the Ecuadorian Army personnel have been seen during the health emergency caused by COVID-19 benefited from the altruistic and solidary help of public institutions, private companies and non-governmental organizations. COMMENTARY: All the support of government entities has contributed greatly to the good performance of Ecuador, in order to combat the global crisis due to COVID-19, providing effective prevention methods to the population.
